The Quorn Quandong Festival is an annual celebration in the small town of Quorn in South Australia. The festival showcases the native quandong fruit through bush food and street markets, native garden tours, and local entertainment. I was commissioned to create an A4-sized illustrated map highlighting the festival's key locations throughout the town – from food and accommodation to local attractions and sights. I used photos sourced online as visual reference to create illustrated representations of some local sights, including the Quorn Silos and the Pichi Richi Railway, while other less iconic locations are indicated using a simple numbering system. The map was to help visitors easily find the town’s ammenities and the festival’s activities.
