ILLUSTRATED BIRTHDAY CARD DESIGNS

These illustrations were commissioned by Diabetes Australia for a series of birthday card designs for ages 12–15. The aim of these birthday greeting cards was to encourage young people with type 1 diabetes to maintain their engagement with the health care system. The illustrations needed to be vibrant and light-hearted whilst avoiding the ideas of sugar and birthday cake, they also needed to visually appeal to both females and males of each specific age.
